01/09/2010 | K8UC Before the 2009 skn I was enjoying coffee with ham friends AT a McDonalds and I noticed that the cover of the drinking spout felt like a hand key. I took the lid home and put a set of brass shim stock contacts in it and used it skn. I made another one this year, but also added a piece of 3" pipe to help hold it down. Had fun. Tnx to BSZ, LTV, NI, KKY, DYF, PSK, AND KS for tolerating my lid key. McDonalds had changed colors of the coffee cups, but still use the same lids.
