03/11/2010 | AA7IR This was my 3rd SKN event, with hopefully many others to follow. I had just returned to the air after nearly a year away, and joined the action in the closing hours. I am forever grateful to those mid west hams who tolerated my attic mounted G5RV's weak and poorly patterned signal, and my questionable 35 watts, and gave me a chance to enjoy several QSO's and the music of SKN's c.w. May I be granted opportunity to reflect their same ham spirit by helping others to enjoy the SKN "rush" as I have. -- AA7IR
