02/22/2010 | W4KP This was our first experience at VHF contesting, and roving. We had a good learning experience, and fun as well.

Being new to this, we stuck with 6 and 2 mtr setup: rotatable dipole for 6 and a 13B2 for 2. To be honest, we were hoping for more activity on the bands; very quiet here with a lot of fading signals. We managed to get a few contacts though, and had fun within our limited station.

We would like to thank K4TO for lending us his expertise and suggestions.
