At 11,000+ points, I've more than doubled last year's score with still limited operating hours.
Last year my 6 week old daughter kept me company during the contest, but at 13 months she's more interested in trying to commandeer the microphone.
15 was open, and most of my contacts were there. Less competition, less QRM.
I was surprised to meet with some success on 80m with 100w into a 30' high inverted V. It's an NVIS antenna for local work, but good for Aruba, Brazil, Mexico, and Curacao in addition to the expected Alaska and Hawaii.
Made a few Russian contacts on 20m over the pole. Heard 'em on 15 but no luck.
10m was silent every time I checked. -- KE7VUX
