03/08/2010 | N2BR wow great contest i log 300 contact for the contest.I found 15 meters open real nice in the day hours and work 20 and 40 most of the time as long as the band stayed open.Good contest but was just playing for fun on this round might turn in a log next year,My little Icom IC-718 only running 100 watt got a real workout i had to use a extra fan beside the rig.The antenna used was a TW-2010 for 20-10 meters and a TW-4040 for 40 meters,These are Vertical Dipoles ground mounted no radials and no tuner inline.Great antenna from Transworldantennas....73's I ready for the next contest...Bob/N2BR -- N2BR
