10/31/2008 | W4AAZ Cal, W4GMH, and Bob, KI4MEU organized the best Boy Scout Jamboree On The Air for our club! We had three transmitters, two HF and one VHF, EchoLink, and two Internet Relay Chat stations. This was the 51st Scout JOTA and the 12th JOTI, Jamboree On The Internet. There were 7 Cub Scouts from 4 deferent Packs, 15 Boy Scouts from 5 Troops, and 1 Girl Scout. 14 Scouts completed Darryl's Radio Merit Badge class. KI4MEU provided pulled pork with beans and W4GMH provided KFC.

Hams were from both the North Okaloosa ARC and the Playground ARC. These hams were Chayne-KI4WBN, Ron-KI5FR,
Phil-N6COP. Steve-KB4OID, Bob-KI4MEU, Richard-KE4BFX, Tim-KI4EOY, Bob-N4CU, Darryl-KE4KEM, Cal-W4GMH, and Glen-KD4QBG. Stephanie and Jason Rousett ran the JOTI stations.
