10/19/2009 | WB8BSA Webelos Scout Robby, 10, from Pack 239 in Novi, Michigan (center) enjoyed his very first JOTA event at the Ottawa Districts 3rd Annual Unity Camporee . His brother, Life Scout Charles, KD8HQW, 13 (right) from Novi Troop 407 had been to several JOTA events and helped him participate; His dad, Chuck, WD8JZI, is an assistant scoutmaster in Troop 407 and proudly looked on.

The event was coordinated by Troop 407s committee chair, Frank Maynard, NF8M (not pictured) who recruited several local hams, including Dave (pictured on the left). -- WD8JZI
