I would like to thank everyone  who put together the Rookie round-up, what a great time. As everybody knows  who participated in this event knows just how difficult the bands were during the contest.

 I would like to make a suggestion that the future Rookie roundups have two classifications (1) for fixed antennas (towers). (2) for wire antennas (dipoles etc.). The reason for my suggestion is very simple, I believe that most new Hams are running portable stations (low cost operations). I do not want in any way to discourage the use of towers, but let's face it's a wire antenna are typically not effective as a towers therefore lesser scores.
