06/21/2010 | ng4c By far the best 6 meter opening for me in more than 10 years. Was able to work only 1 day of the contest. First hour netted 150 + contacts. Was able to lto finally log a few VE's and Fla stations on sunday morning. No europeans on saturday. Final total for 6 meters was 780 contacts on six meters only. Heard the opening on two meters taking place but was so busy on 6 meters. Thanks to all who called. Was a great opening for me to the western US and at the same time mid-latitude states were equally prevelant. -- NG4C
