07/01/2010 | W7YRC The Yavapai Amateur Radio Club and Yavapai County ARES/RACES operated from the Hilltop Ramada in Heritage Park overlooking Willow Lake in Prescott, Arizona. Class was 2A with one transceiver on 40 and 80 meters using a long wire antenna and tuner. 10, 15, 20 and 40 SSB were worked from the ARES/RACES mobile communications vehicle using a three element beam antenna with a 40 meter section. Power was from the 7KW comm. Vehicle on board generator which was used to power both stations. -- WA6ZZJ
