07/01/2010 | W6AK We operated from the Sierra Nevada Mountains about 60 miles east of Sacramento. Tried to copy the K6KPH broadcast of the ARRL Field Day Bulletin on 40M at 1730 local... too many CW operators causing QRM.... so switched to 80M frequency. Good strong signal for the last half of the bulletin. Listened again at 1830 and 1930 - nothing heard! Tried again on Sunday morning - nothing heard from K6KPH on either 80 or 40M!!! -- WF6O
