06/24/2002 | K7YVZ I couldn't have asked for a better opening the the one to Japan. Had a great time for 1-1/2 hours with a big pile up. The only problem with the JA stations was I had about 17 that never would send their grid squares. Would have been a few more points. I was very dissapointed with the 2m activity in the PNW. I logged a whole 3 contacts on 2m. On 6m I was running IC746 100w into a 7ele yagi at 60ft. -- K7YVZ
