Tom (K6VCR) and Scott (N6MI) operated in the N6MI van in rare grid square DM25 -- Mojave National Preserve. We had gear for 6 to 1296. The van was a converted cellular on wheels (COW), acquired from Sprint via e-Bay. Two meters opened up and we worked a few fellows in the Midwest. Also, we worked double hop on six meters. Outstanding! There was a little rain, but we ignored it.
