It's a small world, even on Field Day, where unplanned contacts do happen.

WC5T (STX) started FD operating QRP for the renewable energy extra points using bicycle generator power. Our first contact was with W2IMU (SNJ), their 2nd contact  also operating QRP renewable energy using solar power. 

Our personal bonus was that the WC5T FD Captain was W2MN (Tom) Father-in-law and the W2IMU FD Captain was W2EQ (Tom) Son-in-law.
