Scenic City Amateur Radio Society participated in Field Day 2010 as QRP/100% solar, just as we have since 2005.  A site scheduling conflict made it necessary for us to move to a different location on short notice, but the move didn't dampen our spirits.  The weather was perfect and we had acceptable band conditions.

While running QRP is a challenge, we have found that timing our transmissions allows us to make plenty of contacts.  We were pleased to, once again, improve our field day score over the previous year; as has been the case every year that we posted our logs.

By running 100% solar power, we are don't have to contend with the monotonous drone of a motor-driven generator.....and no more midnight fueling runs!
