My freinds KC0LUE, Andrew age 15, KC0LKW, James age 15, and myself KC0LUF, Greg Jr. age 15,(all techs) as well as my dad WQ0P, Greg Sr age, well as far as I know he's pretty old (Extra), worked the January VHF, UHF and Microwave Contest. Being our very first contest (excluding my dad) it was a very fun and exiting contest. We had a great time, we got to work other hams all over the U.S. I am very sure that the other operators, James and Andrew can say the same thing. I must say that my freinds were real troopers as we stayed up very late on Saturday and on Sunday morning we were all back at the radios. We enjoyed the contest and we will be sure to be back at the next contest. We could not have enjoyed the contest nearly as much if it were not my dad letting us borrow his equipment for the contest, and we owe him a great thanks (not only that but it's his fault my freinds and I even got our liscenses in the fist place!) To say the least we enjoyed every minute of the contest and we can't wait 'till next time. (Please print this note in your QST issue) -- KC0LUF
