For the Sept portion of the 10GHz contest, I travelled with Jerry WA9O and we operated from throughout Wisconsin--both on the Lake Michigan shore and from scenic hilltops in southwestern Wisconsin.

Along Lake Michigan, we met up with Jim W9SNR. Our contacts were primarily with K2YAZ and a group of Michigan operators exploring lakeshore locations in northwestern Michigan (LP).  In that group we worked: NE8I, WA8VPD, WB8TGY, NN9X, K8JA, WW8M, and W8ISS.

We were dodging rain at the start. And conditions across the lake were not stellar. Mostly due to cold air lifting over warm water.  In southwestern Wisconsin, We successfully worked a group on Buck Hill on the south side of the Twin Cities. Additionally, we worked W9ZIH a number of times.  And we tried several times difficult paths to K2YAZ and the Michigan operators only successfully a couple of times. They were difficult contacts that took lots of effort but worth it when they paid off with success.
