After the successful CW weekend I decided to endure the Phone portion long enough to work a combined total of 2000 Q's between CW and SSB. Turns out it wasnt as easy a feat as i had hoped but the recently refurbished and installed 20M Monoyagi @ 40 ft sure proved its worth again with over 1/2 my contacts on that band alone. Never could get any traction on 15M and while 10 was sorta open I spent my daylight hours on 20 where the new antenna pretty much allowed me to hold a frequency at will for as long as i wanted to. While not making my goal of 925 Qs I did come close with a total of 906. Not back for a devout CW contester with a terrible headache all weekend. Dedicated to all my fellow "KBers" out there... Heres to the Northern California Contest Club taking the gavel ONE MORE TIME!!!!!! KB!!
