For the second year in a row, WD9EWK participated in Straight Key Night.  As with 2010, WD9EWK was on the satellites.  In the first 90 minutes of 2011 (UTC time), I logged 5 QSOs with 4 stations on 3 different satellites - AO-51, FO-29, and AO-7.  I was operating from a Phoenix (AZ) city park with two FT-817NDs, an Elk Antennas handheld 2m/70cm log periodic, and using one of the two levers on my paddle as a vertical straight key.  It was fun to hear CW instead of voices coming down from AO-51, which is a very popular satellite for FM operators.  Thanks to WC7V, W9EN, WA5KBH, and WA6ARA for the QSOs!
