Throughout the evening I worked a half a dozen stations on 40m and 80m.  SKN brings back memories of my Navy days as a Radioman and working CW as a new ham. 

As a new Novice my Heathkit sat on top of the dryer in the little laundry room we had.  I had to sit sideways on a kitchen chair, hold the key down with one hand and work the key with the other hand.  No filters in that radio either.  The coax ran out the window to the vertical antenna I had on the roof of the house.

Lots of activity on 40m this year.  It was nice to hear.
