Hi there, Well my shack comprised of the Yaesu FT-2000, SteppIR vertical, 100w, 40 to 10. 3,000ft of radials.

Well that was a hard slog with conditions being terrible for the first 4 hours then all of a sudden the band opened up for 40 minutes and I had a pile up which meant I had to improve my typing skills hihi.

Congratulations to Joanna, she did an awesome job, I ran in to her in the last hour of the contest and she was getting through the contacts like a Pro.

It was a fun experience, I will be doing it again as 6 hours is just comfortable.

Thank you also to all the hams that contacted me and gave me valuable points and to all the QSL cards received, I will be sending my new cards out shortly.
