Happy Veterans Day to all Veterans out there.

Great first half of NOV SS's. Didn't quite make 100+ QSO's for a pin, but had lots of fun and quality contacts. My FIRST EVER,  Alaska QSO using 5 watt'.s no less. Primary antenna was a 80ft end fed wire, w/LDG Z11pro tuner, and a trap dipole for 80/40 meters. Used my Icom 718 and 746 as rigs. Both set at 5 watts output. The 718 with a 500hz cw filter performed very well. Used N3FJP software to keep track of qso's.
