06/14/2002 | N2JMH/R We decided to try a few different grids for this contest and actually visiting the sites before the contest we decided on starting out in FN00 and FN10. We still did not have a decent location in FN01 so we only operated while mobile on our way to FN11, another new site for us.





Sunday morning we were setup in FN12 south of Hornell by 8am at yet another different site for us. We had never scouted this one before but it played out well and will probably be a regular stop for us. We finished the day out in some of our usual spots in FN02, FN03 and FN13.





Overall we had a good time with slightly better than average band conditions and excellent weather. The list of broken equipment was small for this trip but losing 432 did hurt our score alot.
