For my first Sweepstakes since 2004, I operated Unlimited, though I could have done as well with Low Power-Single op. I was almost exclusively on 40M throughout the contest, and found the band challenging at times, and very rewarding at others.

Rig was an IC-746PRO, and the antenna was an MFJ "stick" dipole in the attic. Not the greatest setup, but I did get some good reports.

Highlights for me were getting more New England states towards WAS (though Rhode Island still eludes me!), and working W2UDT, Hudson Division Vice Director and fellow Raritan Valley Radio Club member, Bill Hudzik on 40m. A whopping 12 miles!
