Made a few QSOs on 80 this morning with my T-19/ARC-5 command set system.  On the last one, my J. H. Bunnell  lever literally fell out of its trunions in mid character.  Shifted over to the little built in key on the command tansmitter control box, man is that a stiff key to work! Ended up the QSO on my old Manhattan Electric Supply Company (MESCO) land line practice set key that's mounted on a small board with a land-line Amercian Morse sounder, so I gave most of straight keys  a whirl.

Recommend that the SKN opeating period be extended through at least about midnight Eastern on New Year's Day evening to give those who can't get on at night on New Year's Eve due to either going out or having people in a chance to do some nighttime operating in the event.
