A bout of laryngitis is no impdiment on Straight Key Night!

Al, W6LX, and I had a very long, very pleasant conversation just before midnight local time.  He lives across town from me, and the groundwave path on 40 m was easy.  We ran break-in, as if we were in the same room chatting, and talked about friends, family, and rigs for at least an hour.  I used the J-38 of my wife, KB0QJJ, and our TS-870S to a vertical loop.  Al said he was using a Radio Shack straight key, a KX3, and a Class E/F amplifier he homebrewed from QEX.
