WOW!!!!

After a number of years trying with indoor antennas, I feel vindicated!  Claimed score in excess of 537K points on just shy of 700 Q's running 100 watts to a fan dipole in the yard up 20 feet or so at the feed point.  

Conditions seemed to be just fine to me since I was able to work most of what I heard.  No, I didn't break every pileup, but persistence did pay off.  

Just wish I could have stayed awake for the 160 openings, but after too many years of waking at 0400 (local), I turn into a pumpkin by 2200.  Truly find it hard at times to keep the eyes open much after around 2030!!!

Hoping for reasonable conditions again next year -- and a small yagi up on the roof of the house.
