Lampasas Middle School Youth ARC had 44 students and 2 licensed operators, about average for us for Spring School Club Roundup.  This was the first SCR we operated from our new room with our new to us Cushcraft beam and borrowed amplifier.  Some of the highlights were finally contacting the school in Belgium (ON4HTI), completing QSO's with 52 other schools, and  finally contacting all 50 states during SCR. Tuesday we combined our after school operations with another school function (Gear up Grant sponsored "Team U night") and so were able to introduce new students to amateur radio.  Wednesday we also had Robotics competition team students working on perfecting their robots for state level competition, also cycling through the radio station making contacts. As always, it was a great learning experience for all.
