Operating from CN72 (Iron Mountain):

Pretty slow start on all 3 bands we intended to operate.  2M and 432 were VERY disappointing.  Dave K7NG on 2M and 432, worked NO stations in Washington grids!  Huge change from last year when so many from north of us were heard they started getting in the way. Sigs weaker in any direction than last year on those bands. 

Roger AI7RR sat the 6M setup.  Slow start there too but a decent Es opening got him a bunch of stations along DM02/12/22/32/42 and some DL grids thrown in.  Roger got very popular there for a while.  Thanks to that opening we worked the same number of stations as last year, just many fewer grids.  6 & 2M MS was a disappointment too but we intend to put a lot more effort into that mode in the future.

Murphy didn't bite us as hard as last year but we still had to 'improvise to overcome'.  We have every intention of doing again in 2015!
