Operated QRP portable from 3200 feet in the Coast Range of Northwest oregon at Saddle Mountain State park and got quite the workout on 2.75 mile trek to summit with all my gear! So very thankful for 6 meters and my M2 HO Loop because the lions share of contacts I made at 5watts was on the "Magic Band". I heard some nice E skip just 5-6 hours into contest,but guys weren't hearing my flea powered mountaintop signal. Just the same I had a blast and will probably find my way to some other hill for September contest!!!
