06/27/2002 | K4BKD Wanted to see how my Elecraft K1 performed under contest conditions. Worked off a battery with a 100'wire on 40 and 20 (mostly 20)from my deck. Was amazed what that little rig did!!!Did not set the world on fire but had fun. As you can see when things got too hot...I just cooled off!
