I have been working this contest for over 10 years now, and regularly get close to a sweep.  During the past 12 months, I have been adding radials to the vertical and hanging a backup dipole antenna to get ready.  Despite a small technical set back which effectively caused me to go QRP on 80m during the night, I still managed to barely pull off a sweep!
