 A good time was had by all, except at night, when the ionosphere took a nose dive.  I used a Vibroplex Presentation from the 1970s.  K3 running 100 W to either vertical or dipole, depending on the band.  I got five (out of twelve) QSOs that were long enough to qualify as CWOps ragchews (20 min.)

  Best fist: W7DML - he should be; he's a regular PAN operator   Most interesting QSO: W5WY, faint so I didn't immediately realize he was an old ARES cohort who I thought was in Japan.  He sent his QTH as LA, which I eventually realized was Los Angeles & not Louisiana.  We had a nice chat. -- K6HTN
