Best Fist and Most interesting QSO go to AB7MP, Mark in Spokane Wa.

Mark was using an old Navy Explosion Proof Key superbly and he had just gotten out of the hospital the Afternoon of the 1st thinking he would miss SKN this year.  Ataboy Mark!  Very interesting QSO with Mark and a pleasure seeing that he made it in time for a couple of SKN qsos.

I use an old xtal controlled Heathkit AT-1 6AG7-6L6 transmitter for most of my QSOs.  an AT-1 was the first rig that I owned when I was a novice and I used it for 20 years of so after becoming a General then Extra Class Ham.  Alas I let that one get away in the early 80's but glad to get to use one this year for SKN.  Alas it failed about 2 hours before the end of SKN and I had to resort to my Flex 65 00 for TX at the end.  Great fun on SKN - my favorite event!  73 to all!
