At last, I finally put together a Drake Novice station for SKN!  I put my vintage Drake 2C (purchased when I was a Novice back in 1972 and stored carfully for over 35 years) and my recently eBay acquired 2CQ matching speaker and Q multiplier and 2NT transmitter on the air, but only got 3 contacts before other things took precedent, and I never got back to the rig to make more contacts.

A Nye  Viking Speed X provided the keying duties.

I used the 2NT with crystal control and had a great time, even though it was pretty short.

Maybe next year I can arrange for more operating time?  At any rate, thanks to the ops that worked me.
