The licensed participants in this contest were Allen Galloway, VE9AGG, Brandon Brown, VE9BWB, Brent Petersen, VE9EX, Chelsi Doyle, VE9DOY, Desmond Dupuis, VE9DES, Fred Goora, VE9FGO, Martin Hann, VE9PLS, Peter McGaw, VE9PRM, Sameh Elnaggar, VE9SYN, and Tristan Losier, VE9TRL.  Under the direct supervision of operators with HF privileges were Guanle Shi, VE9SGL, Evan Kennedy, and Joel Dunphy.  Marcelo Oliveira Godinho and Michael Buck, VE9MGB, dropped by for a visit.  As good as the 2013 ARRL Sweepstakes SSB was, due to the demands on people's time at a university, it was undecided about participation in the 2014 contest.  However, the 2014 contest was such an enjoyable social event, both QSOs on the air and conversations in the station, that it is decided to participate in the 2015 contest.  Our club had the pleasure of completing a particular participant's sweep.  To that individual, we may take you up on your offer to help shovel snow for us, sooner that you think!
