I had so much fun at Field Day this year! I am a new ham, now general but I just got my tech license last year, and I've been officially bitten by the HF bug, 20 and 40 were so active, I was really excited to make my first HF contact. I also made two DX contacts (Hungary and Austria) and hit almost every state including Hawaii. After watching the video "The Last Big Field Day" I was pretty stoked to be the first person in our club to contact W3AO on Saturday. I learned so much from setup of the antennas, to troubleshooting equipment, to even effecient tear-down. I left exhausted and sun-burned, but even more excited about my hobby.
