We were 1B, 2 OP, Battery portable from Lake Hudson, Oklahoma.  This was a very good Field Day.  The hot, clear weather was perfect.  We put up a 250ft loop in the trees and it did a great job with our 5 watts from the Elecraft KX3.  The filters in the KX3 and the low noise from the loop made search and pounce on CW pretty simple.  Having W5KKM on the logging computer using N3FJP FD Logger software made the QSO rate go up each time she helped out.  63 sections and 41 states. Murphy stayed home this year.

Two highlights were in contacting my old club in Midland TX (KD5C) and making my first EVER 6 Meter contacts.  The magic band was like an intercom on Sunday morning.  Lot's of fun.
