07/07/2002 | K1PV The Mountain Valley ARC and the Oxford County ARES group held their second annual joint Field Day this year. Members of both groups showed up to operate at our Field Day site in hills of Sumner Maine . The rig we used was a Icom 737 running to a g5rv (for the 80 and 40 meter bands) and a Cushcraft HF tri-band antenna on the MVARC mobile/portable tower (for 20, 15, and 10 meters.)
