07/09/2002 | K8IAT We had a wonderful time this year at Field Day. Alot more DX than previous years including my wife Carrie (KC8KXK) contacting Austraila. We had several more PAC stations than normal but did not hear anyone from AK or NWT. I was expecting alot more South America but Cuba was the only New Region II contact we made. Maybe first year gitters.

We sat up at Bixler Lake in Kendallville IN which is the City Park and had enormous amount of Visitors. One stayed almost the entire night. Gary Pape (KB9YTT) along with Dan Rhinesmith (Future Ham) worked as a tag team for most of the contacts.
