If I was slow in going from transmit to receive and back, it is because of the BIG transfer switch located atop the tuner! It is a genuine "SA-13/U ~ CSZ:605-DAY-45-RA" and it is also inscribed with " FUNGUS -RESISTANT, TREATED JAN. 1945".  Well, maybe not entirely functional for this year's SKN, it is really a great vintage conversation piece. Used my old  Heathkit DX-60-B with a National NC-88 with "cerebral selectivity" as expressed by one QSO. Good to see a good number of participants, even when CW is no longer a requirement.
