07/16/2002 | T40AGR Members of the Cuban Radioamateur Federation (FRC) organized several contest stations for the 2002 Field Day Contest. One of them was the T40AGR that operated from a Cuban Customs recreation camp, near the Habana City. T40AGR made almost 800 contact on 40, 20 and 15 meters. We even got a 111 qso's opening on 6 meters ..!!

Many persons visited the T40AGR location and there we made demostrations of digital modes, amateur satellite operation and how radio amateurs operators help the comunity during emmergencies.

Changing the FD to an international contest for all the Americas was really a very good idea. Congratulations to the ARRL. -- CO2OJ
