ARRL Field Day 2016 for AD7KI was operated as a 2E station in North Central Oklahoma, as the hot, humid Oklahoma summers don't necessarily agree with this Wyoming boy.

Power was provided by the cheap, homebrew generator, the GFN2+, and a solar panel/battery system.

Power lines were fed through my window passthrough to keep the penguins (cool air) inside.

We (my son and I) made quite a few contacts on 15, 20, and 40 meter phone and digital(PSK31) and were pleased to make 9 six meter SSB contacts(something we weren't really expecting). Band conditions for us were pretty odd Sunday morning with medium cycle QSB affecting our ability to complete contacts.
