This years’ Field Day went well with a few exceptions.   After all the work of putting up the tri band beam, one of the loading coils failed which left us with only G5RV’s and a GAP.  We were also without our star CW operator which meant that I became the CW op, which also meant that our CW score was less than half of what it should have been.  Oh well, that’s Field Day.  On the bright side, the weather was great and we ate very well so I call it a successful Field Day.
