07/23/2002 | K8UO As Field Day Chairman, I was honored to serve the Utica-Shelby Emergency Communications Association, Inc. (USECA), located in Macomb County, MI, as it had its best Field Day, so far, this year. We ran 28A and will claim 20,455 total points! We were really fired up for the event and had alot of good food, too. Thanks to our Field Day Kitchen Manager, Dennis W8DFG, the food crew easily prepared over 1000 meals Field Day weekend, as we had 49 operators and 170 people helping out. Friday night live entertainment was supplied by USECA's own QRM. This year, they sounded great! Thanks to all who participated or helped out!
