While I was taking care of my gravely ill brother in Honolulu, three of my highschool age grandsons, KD2GLL, KD2GPJ and KD2GRA set up for the June VHF QSO party at Sean, KD2GRA's house using some antennas and coax I had left for them before departing for Hawaii in late May.

A few days later, Sean's mom emailed me the attached photo of younger brother Thomas, who had just complete first grade, and obviously wanted to join in the fun, putting togther his own 'station' fasioned from some appropriately shaped pieces of wood and a plastic coil cord he found somewhere.... "CQ contest, CQ VHF QSO party ...."

Can't let this enthusiasm go to waste ...
