Great contest this year, to get back to the basics, ie hand written log and dup check sheets, cookie and quick bread making, gardening, all with no computer assist, etc. A lot of nothing going on. Maybe it was due to my antenna stuck pointing northwest. Too cold to climb the tower (15 degrees) to fix. Resurected a 100 ft long end fed wire and tuner for 10m, but no difference. The dipole didn't work either. Rumor has it that the band took a vacation.

Did have a short 'pipeline' into Georgia and Texas for abit. Couple South American stations at the end. Heard CA and WA, but couldn't work them. Worked one XE station. Didn't hear the 'regulars'. No 10M WAS this year.

Twelve months to get ready for the 2017 10 meter contest.
