An interesting January contest for portable operation. No snow - no ice - no frigid temperatures - no high winds!  What fun is that?

I got stuck in mud with my Jeep surrounded by cows (does that make it a multi op?)  After getting unstuck I was able to get clear of my friends and set up.

However, I was unable to reach my destination and suffered from a blocking ridge to the west and south. 

All in all, a productive effort even with radios dying, coax switched breaking, and antennas falling - but that is curse of operating portable.

I had hoped it would have been the following weekend. I was all set to operate with my Aruba call - no such luck - maybe next year!
