03/07/2017 | KD9MS Tough going, but it was fun! Bad propagation, noise and geomagnetic storms makes for a bad situation in radio, but we came through it. Highlights for me were working EU on 809m with 100 watts, ZS6, finding A31 calling with no one answering, and finding a KL7 right on top of a CO and working them both in different directions! I even found the VP6 station on a JA hunt! Still my favorite contest! Thanks to all the world's hams with great antennas to hear my weak signal. -- KD9MS
