I must apologize to those who had to endure my horrendous hand-key CW on 80m on Sunday morning during the 2017 Field Day.  I ended up on an unanticipated rig and found myself lacking the appropriate adapters.  The only key I could get working was the previous op's hand-key.  60 years ago I was fairly adept at sending with a hand-key; not any more.  Fortunately, we were finally able to locate some alligator-clip jumper cables and jerry-rigged a solution permitting me to use my usual keyer/paddles.
